Endurance International Group is the biggest web hosting company that was launched in 1996 in Burlington, Massachusetts which act as headquarter.

The EIG was acquired by Accel-KKR and GS capital in 2011 for the disclosed account, the company is listed on NASDAQ which valued for 1.32 billion. The EIG has more than 70 web hosting brands and has customers who pay 4.9 million.

EIG mostly focus on web hosting companies to increase the customer through the various stream. The companies are by EIG but they operate with there own company name without much establishment of EIG.

When a customer is not satisfied with the hosting service and leaves the EIG host number 1 and finds the other best service available and decides to go to EIG host number 2 at the end customer remains in EIG but with different web hosting companies. This will continue when the customer tries to find what are the companies under EIG.

The EIG has faced many outages across the years, the most famous and noticeable one was on August 2nd, 2013. Most of the customers under HostGator, BlueHost and Host Monster lost their service due to hit in the EIG data center in Utah, which affected phone services and server services where lost, this was the biggest impact for web hosting industries.

Since many companies are under EIG the impact was much higher. The other outages were on Dec 31st, 2013 massive New Year’s Eve outage, April 16th, 2014 due to the router issue in Utah data center, May 19th, 2014 Bluehost, and HostGator outage. And October 29,2014, the servers where down.
